I've decided to delay the Titan IV Project and work on the Proton D for the upcoming Winter Nats in Fla.
Back in early 2000, the Proton was still considered by many the most capable, commercial, expendable launch vehicle presently in operational service. This cool Russian rocket has 6 strap-on boosters, though they do not detach in flight.
"Mission to Phobos"
I am looking at 12" tubing which will put the rocket at about 14' tall. With 7 motor mounts, a 6" main and six 75mm, the power options should be extensive.
